WoS Camp Information

Happy Friday Wall of Sound Members, Thank you to everyone for braving the weather at last night’s Taste of Germantown. I am glad we were able to play and greatly appreciate everyone going with the flow of where to line up, where to play, and getting back to GHS for practice. Camp is finally here. We start bright and early on Monday. Student leaders need to report at 7:30 and everyone else needs to be ready to go at 8:00 am. Below is a copy of what was handed out in rehearsal last night. It lists the general schedule, theme days, and a list of things to have for camp. Just to highlight what to have-Your own water jug/thermos. We will have community water bottles, but having your own is more healthy. -1” Three-Ring Binder. - In addition to your music, you will get several handouts on Monday. A nice place to store it is needed. An added bonus if it has the plastic sleeve on the outside to slide your coordinate sheet for easy viewing. -Sunscreen, hat, athletic shoes and socks. All of these will help keep your healthy and happy. Parents can still volunteer on the Charms calendar, that is also accessible through the band website (www.gtownbands.com). Without the fanstastic help of the parents, we couldn’t do this. Bowl with the Band is on Sunday at Classic Lanes in Menomonee Falls. If you are a last minute bowler, you can sign up at the event to Bowl. We will kick things off with a few pep band songs at 2:45, with bowling happening right after. Lots of prizes, cool costumes, and a great way to kick-off the week of camp.
See you all on Monday morning (if not at Classic Lanes on Sunday) Mr. Belljbell@germantown.k12.wi.us
