Marching Band Madness

Marching Band Madness is an “Invitational” event that features area high school marching bands performing their field shows. It’s one of the first opportunities for bands to perform in front of judges each year. In addition to each band performing separately, all participating bands join forces in a grand finale that features over all of the musicians on the field at once. 

The event has unique educational components for band students by providing them an opportunity to watch some other bands from prime seats in the stadium and by providing them the opportunity to hear directly from the judges during a pre-performance clinic session.

Germantown is able to provide this great experience because of the volunteer efforts of over 90 band parents and supporters. If you’re a band parent or supporter and can spend a few hours to make this event possible, please consider volunteering.
